What did you do? ================ 1. Open https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/JavaScript/Reference/Global_Objects/Array/sort 2. Notice the expanded "IN THIS ARTICLE" section on right. Now search (ctrl+f) page for "param". The text "parameters" in this section will be highlighted as a match. 3. Now press escape key to remove search box What happened? ============== The "IN THIS ARTICLE" section partly disappears What should have happened? ========================== "IN THIS ARTICLE" should not have disappeared partly Is there anything else we should know? ====================================== Im on chrome 48.0.2564.116 m + windows10x64

Hm. I'm not able to reproduce. (Same version of Chrome but on a Mac). Could you please attach a screen shot of the partly disappeared box? Thank you.

I can reproduce this on Ubuntu in Firefox and in Chrome. Search ctrl-f5 type "param" – or anything to get focus on the TOC Hit esc – search disappears Hit esc again – TOC dissapears. Alternatively you can tab until one of the TOC links has focus, and then hit esc.

We should consider making this into a feature, sometimes the floating TOC covers page content. If we had proper buttons and a visual indication of controls it could be useful rather than a weird surprise.
