Steps to reproduce:

Looking for the reply to my post in every newsgrups that I have subscribe.
For example:
alt.comp.software.mozilla
..topic one...............author a
....Re: topic one.......author b
......Re: topic one.....author c
....Re: topic one.......author d
......Re: topic one.....author e
........Re: topic one...author f

If I'm author b I want to receive an alert when there is a reply to my post (in this case author c reply to my post).

If I'm author a the replies are author b and author d.


Actual results:

No alert.


Expected results:

Show an alert.

The alert should be of any type, pop-up, email in my inbox, flag beside newsgroups name, change in thunderbird icon, ecc.
