Actual results: It doesn't save the setting. Every other one letter keyword I tested works; only "t" is not saved.

Works for me running a GNOME Debian Live 8.6.0 under VirtualBox 5.1.12 on macOS 10.12.2: * Firefox 45.3.0 build 20160802213348, UA: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:45.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/45.0
I suspect t was maybe already assigned to another bookmark. Regardless in recent versions we fixed a number of issues with being unable to set/use keywords, so this should now be WFM.
