Details
Android 6.0 added "direct share targets that launch a specific activity in your app. This feature allows users to share content to targets, such as contacts, within other apps":
http://developer.android.com/about/versions/marshmallow/android-6.0.html#direct-share
We could explore using this API to allow sharing links from other apps to more fine-grained targets: Other devices, bookmarks, ..
It looks like this is only possible for the SEND intent. We listen to this even for text that is SEND and may (or may not) contain links. Currently Firefox shows up as "Add to Firefox" and we show our share overlay if Firefox is selected.
