Toggling items in the restricted profile section doesn't seem to change any restrictions - clearing history and private browsing worked no matter what settings I toggled in the Owner profile.
I'll have a look.

I created a restricted profile on my N9 and have all features disabled: I do not have any UI elements to create a private tab or to delete the browsing history. liuche: Can you elaborate a bit more what you did and what you are seeing? What device are you using? Also make sure the profile is actually restricted: Settings -> Users -> Add user or profile -> Restricted profile.

Hm, that's odd - I tried this with a new profile and the permissions appeared again. Sorry about that, I'll reopen if I see this again for some reason.
