User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_3) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/48.0.2564.116 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: Run Thunderbird on my Mac Book Pro laptop (running El Capitan, 10.11.3). Then take it to my office and plug it into an external monitor with different screen resolution. Actual results: See windows with tiny -- Retina laptop-scale -- font, etc. Adjusting the window size by dragging a corner of the window forces redisplay and the font size, etc. are fixed. Note that the wrong font size, etc. seems to be only a redisplay issue. If you click in the window while it's incorrectly displayed you, for example, will get pull down menus that are scaled correctly, or you will see a text box of the correct size and position displayed over un-refreshed window content. Expected results: Window should resize upon connection with new display. As best as I can tell this incorrect behavior is new with TB 45.0 I don't know if this is related to bug 62395.
Same problem, I can confirm with captain 10.11.4 macOS and MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2012)
I can confirm, by resizing the window in attached screen problem disappear.
