Examples of useful scene:
1. xpinstall.signatures.required, proxy setting and others prefs.
2. DOM Inspector, restart button and others add-ons.
Yeah, this would be something very useful.

Another useful scene would be that you are continuous testing several single builds (rather than using bisect), and have a way to persist the prefs would be helpful.
