Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win95; en-US; rv:0.9.8) Gecko/20020208 BuildID: 2002020811 If I set "encrypt" in message options, and I dont have certificate for recepient, I get "encription impossible" message. After that I cannt send this message, and cannt save - this message about missing cert appears every try. But I cannt uncheck "encrypt message" in menu - it unchecked there. Message have to drop. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. create new message 2. enter recepient, you dont have security certificate for 3. choose option->security->always encript 4. try to send message Actual Results: message "error sending msg, you dont have cert.........." appears. now go to option->security->always encript and see - "always encrypt" is unchecked. Now try send more - first message eappears. Expected Results: instead simply warning about impossible send - window with question and variants - "send unencrypted" and "stop send". user interace of this function too complex. in netscape version 4.x was very good and clean - tab with "options", with checkboxes - versus 3 level menus, with check points, and ununderstandable current state of function and possible values

kai I think Kai has checked in something recently that may very well solve this.

This has been fixed in the trunk builds - will verify in the branch (I believe it will make its way there as part of other fixes.)

There are still the usability issues, however the impossible send is no longer present.
