User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:45.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/45.0 Build ID: 20160315153207 Steps to reproduce: I press and hold left mouse button over a little icon left of the url and before v 45.0.1 I was able holding the mouse button to a) create a link in a folder (BIG, BIG advantage against using Win7 menu option because 2 out of 3 fails) or b) paste the url into a text. Actual results: Since 45.0.1 nothing :((((((( Before 45.0.1 the link was created or the url was pasted! Expected results: Either create alink or paste the url

I started ff in -safe-mode and tried: - Pinned Tabs (other bug): Here is the same as the other two bugs: the mouse stopped working. In -safe-mode I created several pinned tabs and failed trying to move one of them to another place with the mouse! - Dragging the url into a folder or text: Even this is not working in -safe-mode - Dragging an image from a web-page into a folder: Even this is not working in -safe-mode
Mike, did we change something here that you're aware of?

No, I'm not... I can drag URLs out from the identity icon into other window URL bars, and even into other browser URL bars (I tested Chrome and IE), but yeah, can't create shortcuts with them. We should try to get a regression range.

WFM in Fx45.0.1 and Fx46.0b10, on Win10.
Hi reporter, I have tested your issue on latest FF release (version) and latest Nightly build and could not reproduce it. I have dragged and dropped the URL in a folder, desktop or in a text document and it works as expected. I've also tested with Firefox 45.0.1 and I was not able to reproduce this issue. Is this still reproducible on your end ? If yes, can you please retest this using latest FF release and latest Nightly build (https://nightly.mozilla.org/) and report back the results ? When doing this, please use a new clean Firefox profile, maybe even safe mode, to eliminate custom settings as a possible cause (https://goo.gl/PNe90E). Thanks, Paul.

Marking this as Resolved: Incomplete due to the lack of response from the reporter. If anyone can still reproduce it on latest versions, feel free to reopen the issue and provide more information.
