Details

For mail.yahoo.com and www.slashdot.org (but not slashdot.org) Mozilla will not autocomplete the address. Steps to reproduce: Type mail.yahoo.com into the URL bar. Start typing it again and notice the lack of autocomplete. This seems to be mac only. Last tested with 2002020608 OS X, and 0.9.8 and Netscape 6.2 Mac OS 9 and Win. Behaviour was observed on all except for the Windows build.
I fixed this.

sure enough, it is fixed. relevant bug was bug 112208.
