>>>   My Info:   Win7_64, Nightly 48, 32bit, ID 20160320030409
STR:
1. Open new window. Open as many tabs as possible without causing overflow in tabs toolbar
2. Hover mouse over the center of the last tab, hold left mouse button
3. Remember where's the center of the 1st tab is located
4. Move mouse pointer to the place you remembered in Step 3
5. Press Ctrl key ('keydown' then 'keyup')
6. Move mouse pointer to the right by 10px, then to the left by 10px

AR:
In Steps 5 and 6 the dragging tab is placed on top of background tab

ER:
The background tabs (including the 1st tab) should slide to the right in Step 5 or at least in Step 6
to leave free space for the dragging tab

screencast 1 (bug 1258689) - dragging tab appears right on top of background tab.webm

Correction!

Actual result:
After Step 5 the dragging tab teleports to the end of list
After Step 6 the dragging tab appears under mouse pointer again, but now it's on top of the 1st tab

Expected result is either X or Y:
 X) After Step 5 the dragging tab should appear under mouse pointer, and background tabs
should slide to the right to leave free space for the dragging tab
 Y) (weaker than X) The dragging tab should appear under mouse pointer at_least in Step 6, and
background tabs should slide to the right to leave free space for the dragging tab
