Mozilla 2002020611/Linux-i686 Strange alert window appears and complains about unknown DOM. Page is not accessible. Steps to recreate: 1. Visit above URL. 2. Click on bottommost entry in menu on the left ("KATALOG KSIAZNICY POMORSKIEJ"). 3. Observe small window appearing. 4. Click on first item in the new window ("1. KATALOG GLOWNY KSIAZNICY (ALEPH)"). 5. Another window opens. 6. Soon after that a dialog appears with "DMenu: Unknown DOM" inside. 7. When you try to "ok" the dialog, it reappears. Obviously, the message should not appear and page should be usable (as in fact it is when tested with NS4.x). Repeatability: always. I am not sure if the bugzilla's "component" I selected is right, btw.

Ok, it's been a month - has there been any reaction?

No reaction, so far.

It seems this bug is dependant on bug 124185. The alert is identical, and in both cases these are library sites, using something they call ALEPH. I believe Ksiaznica Pomorska has simply bought the software and has no means of repairing it...
Depends on: 124185

On the other hand, sites who were subjects of bug #60840 and bug #58399 somehow managed to get themselves repaired. Either there is a new version of ALEPH software available or a self-made fix is also possible. Since the webmaster is not answering email I think I'll try to locate him/her in person and discuss the issue on the phone. I'll post any results here.

This bug will not be resolved without an upgrade of the ALEPH software. Moving to Future.

The Webadmin contacted me. He expect a update of the ALEPH libraries, but did not say when. Leaving Target at Future.

Now the page says "Biblioteka zamknieta" ("The library has been shut down"). Resolving as INVALID. Please reopen if the site is reborn and still not compatible with Mozilla.
