Details
Given the fact that we have alerts which get reassigned and marked downstream for the majority of the alerts (probably 75%), we should assume this is normal and understand this workflow.
I went to look at an alert:
https://treeherder.mozilla.org/perf.html#/alerts?id=612
and was immediately confused even though I had annotated all of the individual alerts. I imagine a developer would be confused. The list is long when in fact there is just a couple of alerts that are of interest.
This case only has 1 alert of interest:
https://treeherder.mozilla.org/perf.html#/alerts?id=599
it is hard to focus on what alerts we have if we cannot hide the alerts not related. This brings up the question- do we hide 'invalid' marked alerts? I say yes. We should only show by default all alerts that are acknowledged.

Something like a checkbox with "show invalid alerts"? And we only show those alerts without strikethrough?

I think a checkbox for "show all alerts" and we hide 'reassigned', 'downstream', 'invalid' by default, only show 'acknowledged' and 'untriaged'.
Possibly there is another way to think about this, open to other ideas.
