Details
There was some feedback these past months where a user had incorrectly put in their age when signing up for sync. Most recent feedback: https://input.mozilla.org/en-US/dashboard/response/5847981 Refer to bug 1031621 [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1031621] Steps to reproduce: Sign up with age verification on the first computer and put in a number less than 13 Try to sign up with another email on the same machine with the correct age Expected: To sign up, or have an option to verify or vouch that it was a mistake. What happens instead: It locks out.

IIUC we have some pretty specific requirements on this flow, for compliance reasons. We can't make it trivial to "try again" and circumvent the age restriction. However AFAICT, quitting the browser and trying again should clear it and allow the user to sign up.

I suspect this is unfortunately a WONTFIX for a more general solution, unless we can confirm that the locked-out state sticks around even when it shouldn't. For me, restarting the browser was enough to clear it.
