[Affected versions]: Nightly 48.0a1, Aurora 47.0a2, Beta 46.0b5, Release 45.0.1 [Affected platforms]: Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Linux [Steps to reproduce]: 1. Open browser. 2. Move browser to second monitor. 3. Click on the Hello icon. 4. Click on "Browse this page with a friend" and then on "Copy Link". [Expected result]: - Global indicator should be displayed on the second monitor (the one where the browser is on). - Global indicator can be moved to the second monitor. [Actual result]: - When moving the browser to a second monitor, the global indicator remains on the first monitor (the main display). - If user tries to drag the global indicator to the second monitor, is not able to. [Additional notes]: - This issue is also present when logging into Facebook and calling/video-calling someone. - Please move to the appropriate component if the case. I'm not sure Hello(Loop) is the right one since it happens on Facebook too.
Component: General → Device Permissions
Product: Hello (Loop) → Firefox
Device Permissions is indeed the appropriate component, but I'm not sure I agree with the "expected result" here. The point of the global sharing indicator is to have something the user can't miss, so showing it always on the primary monitor seems to make sense.
