I'm not sure which kinds of bugs are meant to be covered by this one. Is it SVG 1.1 or SVG 2 or some specific ones you picked? Note that for SVG 2 I've created an implementation status page: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/SVG/SVG_2_support_in_Mozilla Also, if this issue doesn't cover SVG 2 support, would it be worth creating another meta-bug for all SVG 2 features? It's not specific to any versions of SVG. > Also, if this issue doesn't cover SVG 2 support, would it be worth creating > another meta-bug for all SVG 2 features? It doesn't cover any SVG2 support in this bug, I'll ni heycam here to see if we have had a bug for it. Thanks.

I don't think we have a bug to cover implementing SVG 2 as a whole. (I don't think we need one. We should evaluate SVG 2 features / bug fixes on a case by case basis.)

(In reply to Cameron McCormack (:heycam) from comment #4) > I don't think we have a bug to cover implementing SVG 2 as a whole. (I > don't think we need one. Ok, if you change your mind at some point, I have created a public saved search for SVG 2 bugs now (based on the bugs listed on the MDN page). With that it should be easy to create a meta-bug. /fwiw here's another instance. Compare https://ello.co/ddailey/post/0h8y-ppuvw8-ke4zs5wqaw (embedded in HTML <img>) vs http://cs.sru.edu/%7Eddailey/svg/Vdub44cC.svg The latter is the 'pure' image and the CSS animation works fine in FF, but not within <img> at Ello. In Chrome and IE the CSS part of the animation works fine in both contexts. I assume this is no different than the other reports, though I'm not quite sure how to find my previously reported instance [sorry].

I will look into it while debugging bug 1190881, thank you for report this issue.
