whereis.com is a popular Australian website providing maps. I tried this link http://www.whereis.com/vic/hawthorn-east/7-hall-st?id=28B8BC0F803F45 and get pretty much a blank screen. Works fine in Chrome and IE 10 on Windows 7 (64 bit).

WFM, FF45 and Nightly on Linux64.

Thanks for looking into it. The page works fine in safe mode, but it doesn't work in normal mode even with all add-ons and dictionaries disabled. What else does safe mode do that is different from normal?
Any idea how to track this down further? I consider myself a regular FF user, so if it doesn't work for me, it might not work for others.

If it works in safe mode, it's probably due to HWA disabled. Can you try with HWA disabled in normal mode. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/forum-response-disable-hardware-acceleration (restart to apply)
Component: General → Untriaged
Product: Firefox → Core
I have HWA disabled by default. So without HWA it doesn't work.
Could you type about:support and copy the section "graphics".
Actually, works on a new profile with and without HWA. So I have a gremlin in my normal profile, but I can't find it ;-(
There is still the reset feature: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/reset-firefox-to-fix-most-problems You lose your add-ons but you keep your private data.
Flags: needinfo?(mats)
I've done the reset, now it works as expected. If I ever find the culprit, I'll post it here.
