User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; rv:45.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/45.0
Build ID: 20160315153207

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Devtools
2. Any panel like debugger or style editor with long lines
3. Try to scroll horizontally

Actual results:

Scrolling without mouse wheel sucks, especially in the devtools with its tiny (good because of lack of space) scrollbars.

Expected results:

I would like to use shift+mousewheel for horizontal scrolling. Chrome (nativ *and* devtools) allow this making usage of the tiny editors/panels much more convenient. For Firefox there is a long standing bug in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=143038 which seems to have never fixed due to historicalwise other traditional shortcuts for shift+wheel on some platforms.

At least in the context of the devtools <shift>+mousewheel should be enabled like in other editors.

Bug 143038 was fixed yesterday. I tested and you can now <Shift>+Mousewheel to scroll horizontally in Firefox Nightly. I expected that it would work out of the box now also for DevTools (because it's just a Web app), but unfortunately it does not. I tested with Dark and Light DevTools Theme.
