Seen on Mozilla 0.9.8 (build 2002020405) on Mac OS 9.2.2: 1) Go to http://www.wordrecords.com/ 2) Click on "Press Releases" (or several other buttons that will produce the same result). 3) Nothing happens except that a pound sign (#) appears next to the URL in the location bar. Will be checking this with other browsers as well. FYI, Word Records is a fifty-year old music company featuring contemporary Christian artists such as Amy Grant, Sandi Patty, and Jaci Velasquez.
Netscape 6.2.1 on Mac OS 9.2.2: About every other link is of the form where the URL is shown in the status bar as the current URL followed by the # symbol. I assume it is supposed to pop up a window at that point, but I can't make heads or tails of the code. It's quite indented. :-)
Netscape Communicator 4.79 on Mac OS 9.2.2: Gee, same result. I guess this is just such bad code that it doesn't work in ANY Netscape or Mozilla product I have. I'll give Opera a shot for fun.
Opera 5.0 on Mac OS 9.2.2: When I click on one of the offending links, the browser acts as if it's about to do something, then it just quits. (Might I add that any claims that Opera is the fastest browser on Earth were blown for me. Any browser that takes forever to download the Bugzilla search page has to be bad. I ended up just switching back to Mozilla to make this post.)
iCab 2.7.1 on Mac OS 9.2.2: Man, this gets old. Clicking on these links in iCab does absolutely nothing! No # sign or anything! I don't have that other browser, so I can't say whether it works there or not, but I'm going to get in touch with the webmaster. You would think those links could work among ONE of these browsers.
Page is using browser-sniffing and sending us down the "You are not IE so you suck and can't get to anything" path.

An e-mail I received this morning: *** Unfortunately, there are a few areas of the site that have yet to be developed, including the press releases area. It should be ready in the near future. Also, I'm not aware of any browser incompatibilities...with the exception of IE for Max OS X. However, we will be introducing an alternative version of the site that will, hopefully, address any such issues. Thanks for the "heads up," though! Oh, and just FYI...Amy Grant's LEGACY project is slated for a late May release. More to come on the site! Thanks for your support of our artists and their ministries. Kristi Henson WordRecords.com Webmaster *** So apparently it's not an issue of the information not being *accessible* -- it's an issue of the information not being *there*. Marking this as INVALID unless anyone objects.
