Mihai,
What you said "Minimize" is to push FireFox to the background?
Flags: needinfo?(mihai.ninu)
Hi Blake,
Yes, when pushing Firefox to the background or when opening another app (e.g. youtube app and playing a video)
Flags: needinfo?(mihai.ninu)
On a side note, i've seen several bugs in which it's discussed that the media files should play in the background : 1226730, 963540 so eventually this one might be invalid
This is expected behavior for Firefox.

Mihai,
For your information, after bug 1240423 is landed, users can easily pause the video if they don't want to play it.
