+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1230645 +++
Nightly on a Nexus 4, Android 4.2.2 with no flashplayer. In about:addons I see the OpenH264 Video Codec from Cisco. When I go to a URL like https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=W8oRTgaWkgg&feature=youtu.be I get what appears to be the HTML5 video, but it just spins the loading icon forever and doesn't actually play.
If i go to YouTube. Com/html5 all the boxes are enabled so I assume all my prefs are set to the right thing.

I tried some other videos as well, some worked and some did not.
Summary: Can't play youtube videos on fennec any more, it just spins forever → Can't play some youtube videos on fennec, it just spins forever

I've since updated my phone to CM13/lollipop, don't know if that matters. But no, I can't reproduce on the URL in comment 0.
