Currently installing the Add-on requires disabling security features of the browser. Can we get this extension signed and added to a.m.o to make it easier for people to install and help increase community contributions?

These instructions are outdated. For an extension to work in Firefox it must be signed by Mozilla, not by yourself. See Signing and distributing your add-on.

I think is only needed someone with access to mozilla account[1] in AMO or the actual module owner, packing the addon and upload to AMO, just that.

I would help but I think is not necessary, maybe in another bug related with the project.

All bugs are fixed, I will add a patch to bump the version to 0.9.10 here and after it is merged, I will re-submit on AMO.
