Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_4) AppleWebKit/601.5.17 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/9.1 Safari/601.5.17

Steps to reproduce:

Upgraded to 45.0 for OS X and now the default composition is Paragraph. I do not want Paragraph as the default I want Body Text!

Actual results:

Upgraded to 45.0 and now the default composition is Paragraph. I do not want Paragraph as the default I want Body Text!

Expected results:

You should give the user the default choice not chose for them! And not change it in a new version just because you want to. I looked and could not find any place to set the default to Body Text. If I missed it I apologize, tell me where it is.
There is a new checkbox in the Composition preferences. From the [≡] button located at the right-hand side of the toolbar, click on "Preferences" or "Options" (depending on the platform), then go into the "Composition" tab. Uncheck "When using paragraph format, the enter key creates a new paragraph" and the editor should default to "Body Text" again when composing a message.

THANK YOU!! Worked like a champ. I did see that but did not try it because it wasn't intuitive. I.E. didn't indicate it would take you out of the "Paragraph" type.
You are welcome. Yes, the wording is a bit complicated...
