I've noticed that recently text looks crappy on some websites on OS X such as gmail and bugzilla. On bugzilla it seems like the rendering of the text changes a few hundred milliseconds after I switch to a tab that is affected by this issue (as in, the text renders normally right after you tab switch and then switches to being crappy a few hundred milliseconds after switching to the tab.
I'm attaching a screenshot.

In that screenshot, it looks like you're not getting subpixel AA in the content; is that the key difference between the "normal" and "bad" renderings? (Do you get it on other sites?)

On Gmail. I think I have seen it on other websites too but I'm not too sure.
