126762 - mozilla-0.9.8 brings a small window and nothing else

When mozilla is called, a small window appears. Clicking on any of the icons 
does not yield any result. I can provide a gif snapshot of that window. The
only way to exit the program is by 'kill -9 %1'.

could be related to bug 114353

-> Profile Manager Backend

(it seems that mozilla can't find the profile)

You didn't, by chance, start mozilla with -P did you?
If you have no profiles yet, that would bring up an empty profile picker as in
the screen shot.
Besides that case, a blank profile picker shouldn't appear.
Not only that, but the fact that all the buttons in this window means something
is really wrong which is not profile mgr back-end.
