Rename product from "Plugins" to "External Software Affecting Firefox" Change product description to "For problems with third-party software which affect Firefox users. Plugin problems should be in Core:Plug-Ins instead of this product." Move the following components to a graveyard (Firefox graveyard?): Everything except "Other", "OpenH264" and "Flash (Adobe)" Clear everything from the "Version" field so that "unspecified" is the only option. Clear everything from the "Target Milestone" field.
The plugins bugzilla product is a dumping ground which is not well maintained. As described in the user-story field, I'd like to make some significant changes. I'm asking Emma to confirm these changes before the bmo team actually does anything.
Flags: needinfo?(ehumphries)
In Plugins::not(Flash (Adobe), OpenH264, Other) there are no unresolved bugs, and 1,086 resolved bugs (http://mzl.la/1TcjDNU). In Plugins::(Flash (Adobe), OpenH264, Other) there are 24 unresolved bugs (http://mzl.la/1TcjTMC), and 1,106 resolved bugs (http://mzl.la/1TckgXG) The version field values of the active bugs are: 11.x 3 13.x 1 20.x 1 Unspecified 19 And Target Version is distributed as -- 23 Future 1 I don't see much disruption doing this and I'm okay with proceeding unless we want to discuss with communications team so they can respond to questions.

Should we create Plugins Graveyard to move the old bugs into?

That sounds like an implementation detail for the bmo team. I really don't care.
