Details

How to reproduce:
- Open Mail/News and use the Search | Search Messages
   or the Advanced.. button above the messeges listing pane.
- Choose a mail account
- Select the date field

No other formats are supported beside the mm/dd/yyyy
E.g. in the messages listing pane the date follows the OS's defaults.
I think this is already filed.

in the bug #32216 , in commments #27 i've mentionnned this problem, but it is
not filed as a separate bug.
It's a dup of bug 98144
