Steps to reproduce:

For the last week or so (roughly 20/04/2016), when I click on a link within an email in Google Gmail a new tab pops up and says the "Nightly prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page" with an Allow button in the right hand side. It doesn't give me an option to allow all links from Gmail to redirect. This happens even after I click Allow for the next link I click on. The new tab will automatically close after about 30 seconds. This is quite annoying as I click on links in my emails and go back to gmail to open other messages and by the time I get around to viewing the pages I have opened they have closed on me.


Actual results:

Firfox prevented the page from redirecting and closes the new tab after roughly 30 seconds


Expected results:

After I click Allow the first time, Firefox should remember that I allow redirects from gmail or provide me with some method to add redirects from gmail to a safe list.

Hi Grover, 
Here are some screen shots of a link in Gmail (the second image is what happens after I click on the link). I clicked on the link to this address: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1268129 and I get the second image with the redirect prevention. I tried this with V 46, which I just updated to. I'll try disabling addons and post again.

Sorry for the spam. Restarted V 46 with addon's disabled and I still see this. Maybe I've changed something in about:config. The only things I do change in there are related to HTML5 or CSS3 prefs. I haven't made a change to this in over a month though.

Ctrl + Click link in gmail works as expected
Click opens new tab with redirect prevention

Here you go. These addons are enabled on my Win 7 enterprise computer without the problem above. I have ad blocking addons installed but they don't cause this issue on Win 7 with FF 46 or Nightly.

Not happening with Hotmail, Yahoo or my Office 365 Outlook account. I wonder if I've enabled some option in Gmail but I don't think so. This is working in Win 7 for Gmail links with the same settings. Just Win 10 V14232_rs1.
