According to Spec v2.1, there is a new feature called multiple-pin, which allows users to pin the same card multiple times to homescreen. Also, based on the implementation, users will be unable to unpin the card from its source.

Comment on attachment 8746989 [details] [review] [gaia] luke-chang:1268417_tv_support_multi_pin > mozilla-b2g:v2.6 Hi Rex, In this patch, I added a config to enable/disable multi-pin feature and changed the cardId to a permanent UUID, which can be saved and restored from DataStore, so that we can store the same cards with different identities. In addition, I removed the folderId property of the folder object as an UUID cardId is sufficient for its original purpose now.
