Steps to reproduce:

Numerous attempts.   Same result and with different images.   




Actual results:

Composition bar completely freezes.   Have to close write application.   Dialogue box asks if I want to save to Drafts folder?

I always say yes.    Then I go to drafts folder, and send it from there.


Expected results:

Should be able to send message as before.    Version 38.7.2

Do you also see the problem when starting in safe mode?

The problem as stated has, just like it arrived, has mysteriously disappeared.   I am not aware of any changes that I made to Thunderbird.   I had not tried safe mode.   

As it has been OK, for a couple of days, I am hopeful it will not return.

Please mark this problem as appropriate, and thanks for your attention.l
