Steps to reproduce:

1) Open thunderbird (45.0)
2) click to write a new message (or to forward a message)
3) in the compose window that opens click File->Print


Actual results:

nothing


Expected results:

print window opening
If in step 3 you choose File->Print Preview the preview opens and then it's possible to print
It was working in thunderbird 38...
