Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:42.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/42.0
Build ID: 20151029151421
Steps to reproduce:
I have installed all addons after fresh installation of Firefox.
Actual results:
After some days, due to version of https-everywhere gets old, some sites have stopped displaying properly.
Also, updating addons not worked.
Expected results:
After hour of trial and error for addons, I found that updating https-everywhere works for the sites displaying incorrect images.
Should we develop any mechanism which will tell the updation of particular addon is available or not?
Automatic updates should work correctly if configured correctly or you have downloaded from http://addons.mozilla.org, maybe you have downloaded from http://eff.org and it was misconfigured, or other problems.
What is your working version and the old version of https-everywhere?
Component: Untriaged → Add-ons Manager

Hi,
I don't remember prev version number but current one is 5.1.6
I always prefer to download from addons site but if it is not there, I prefer to go for vendor specific site.

If you could install the old version of https-everywhere from AMO, it should update for you. If not you should get some errors at the browser console. If you can tell us what those errors are, we can then try to diagnose the problem.
