Steps to reproduce:

Open firefox


Actual results:

Bookmarks menu at top is blank.  Click on view and it is checked.  Uncheck and re-check it works to restore bookmarks menu at top


Expected results:

Bookmarks menu at top should appear when Firefox opens

Hello Richard, Are you talking about Bookmarks menu or bookmarks toolbar? In view you can only check/uncheck Bookmarks toolbar. I tested on the current release and the latest nightly build, and I don't see any issue with either bookmarks menu or bookmarks toolbar. If in view bookmarks toolbar is checked, it always show the bookmarks toolbar. Bookmarks menu is working fine too.

Does the problem still happen if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? (Safe Mode disables extensions and themes, hardware acceleration and some JavaScript stuff in order to exclude some possible reasons for problems. It does not disable plugins which are add-ons.) Once I started once in the safe mode, everything is back to normal.
