Steps to reproduce:

In Thunderbird 45.1 in win 10 x64, the content of the sent tag is deleted when moving the cursor up or down in the display window


Actual results:

The content is lost in the sent folder, but not deleted when moving the cursor
This problem in previous versions was happening to the inbox folder, but now this is fixed.

I recombined the sent folder contents, updating the installed sent mail accounts but the problem remains

So, in order to see the combined view of sent e0mails, you need to check the sent folder of each individual email account 


Expected results:

The content of the folder should be visible and you should be able to select what to click and review. As the content is disappearing, the selection and review procedures are not possible

I've seen this on my inbox.

Somehow your smart mailboxes got corrupted. Delete (or move elsewhere) the folder "smart mailboxes" in your mail storage.

Thank you Jorg K.

I was afraid to delete the folder 'Smart mailbox'. 
I made a copy to another folder. 
I closed Thunderbird and deleted the 'smart mailboxes' folder from the users ... profile .. thunderbird...
I restarted Thunderbird and now it works as it should.

Hmm, since this is the second occurrence of this I have seen, perhaps we should one day find out what causes this.

Problems with unified are as old has the hills.
No lack of bug reports.  Small sampling http://mzl.la/24u4eAi
