This is not really an intermittent, it's happening constantly on 10.6 debug try run

This should be impossible: mCallback is protected by a mutex, and checked within it.
My concern would be that somehow the VideoReceiver was deleted while we were waiting for the decode callback, so that the mCallback pointer is invalid. If this is 100% failing on 10.6, it should be catchable. I have a 10.6 mac (though I can't build on it)
