New bugs filed in at least Mailnews Core (and I assume also for Thunderbird) have the flag automatically set: "status-firefox49: affected" This makes no sense, and could be annoying to the Firefox folks. Could we remove that default flag setting? See for example bug 1269316 as a recent example. See also bug 1263198 as the equivalent bug for SeaMonkey, and bug 1170179 as an earlier bug that purported to fix this.
Thanks. I think I have finally tracked down the issue that I was able to spend some minutes looking at this. Fixing in the previously reported bugm as they are related in cause. dkl
