Details

These two add-ons were reported to us for having privacy violations. Specifically, they report every visited URL to a third party (for monetization) without disclosing it to their users.

As for auto-plugin-checker, it does install with 'Allow anonymous statistics' enabled, and indeed I remember it having been introduced in an update without any heads-up, but perhaps it would be enough to ask the author for disabling it by default? The 'Options' entry within the add-on is quite explicit about it being done for money.

I forgot to mention that here. The authors were notified weeks ago and there was no response. You can continue using the add-on if you want, by enabling it in the Add-ons Manager.
