User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:45.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/45.0 Build ID: 20160407164938 Steps to reproduce: I upgraded (automatically) from Thunderbird 38 to 45. I click on a message in the message list and open though the message in its area Actual results: There is a "big" grey, empty area with no content (see attached screenshot) Expected results: Before the update in this area, there were some header data of the message (like sender, date etc.). I have the addon CompactHeader installed - so the buttons of this extension were shown. Because I thought this error was caused due to some incompatibility by CompactHeader I disabled this. But the result is, that what shown: a complety empty header area. This result is the same, regardless what I set in /Ansicht/Kopfzeilen (View/Headerline -> All or Normal, Inline or Short).

Mnenhy is known to be not compatible with TB 45. Please deactivate it and check again. If this still doesn't help try to start TB in safe mode (https://support.mozilla.org/kb/safe-mode). It could be an other extension is also not compatible.

Looks you created three bugs for one incompatible add-on: This one and bug 1270413 and bug 1270417.

@Jorg: Sorry about. For me as 'simple user' regarind TB, this was not obvious. I tried to describe all bugs I encountered best and filed reports on them - as they might be connected to each other or not. I do not know about the way You work this ticketing portal. With our own we prefer to have each 'strange occurance' to be a single ticket to move them more easy to the person in charge. So once more: sorry about! In the meantime I also learned about thunderbird-mail.de - which might me on such problems the best 'first stop' for me, and there it will be best to add just one posting on all problems for sure :-) @Richard: You're right, finally it was caused by Mnenhy. I had disabled most addons after upgrading, but I needed to do a safe-mode-start either and were able to enable most other addons later on. Might it be an idea - in case Mnenhy is known to be buggy / not compatible to disable it by the upgrade?
