If you want to use fast-update on a tinderbox, it should accept -D. Ihave apatch for this (which is running on Brad on MozillaTest now). It uses the given date for the timestamp file, so hours-to-go are still ok, but trying to fast-update by going backwards won't really work. I'll attach the diff for comments.
Comment on attachment 70861 [details] [diff] [review] patch sr=alecf very cool! Can't wait to see this on tinderbox.

Comment on attachment 70861 [details] [diff] [review] patch r=cls even though I still think that using fast-update on tinderboxes (you can be sure they'll be more) is going to put an unnecessary load on bonsai when pulling from cvs-mirror is even faster than fast-update. But whatever.
Need to play with 132756 before doing this, I think. Maybe they're not related - need to check. -> 1.1

Created attachment 125051 [details] [diff] [review] Patch v1.0.1 This patch is merged to trunk, creates a spawn_cvs subroutine, and fixes an error where in one spot the previous patch wanted to update $dirlist instead of $pdir, as it did previously.
