Details

Modal prompts are a common UI annoyance. There's a few specific issues we should fix in the short term:

* Tab-modal HTTP authentication prompts. (bug 613785)

* Async prompt API (bug 1271842) to prevent browser hangs in certain situations.

* Decouple the Master Password from PSM (bug 1271851), as a step towards eliminating multiple concurrent MP prompts, which is a frequent user complaint.
