127192 - Cannot enter url and go to websites

My version is 0.9.8 currently.  The problem started with 0.9.7.  Here's the
problem.  I cleared my history a few days ago and then turned off my pc.  The
next day I was unable to enter a url into the URL Bar and go to a particular
site.  I am also unable to change what dimension the Mozilla window will open up
to.  It always opens at a smaller size than I care for.  The sidebar always
comes up also.  I can't keep it from loading with every Mozilla window.  Even
the mail application has this problem with the sidebar.  I tried uninstalling. 
Sorry for the poor description of the problem.  Email me and I'll see if I can
clarify.

Additionally you need to give more detail. In what way are you
unable to enter a URL ? Can you focus on the URL Bar etc.
