Please add ast to the list of supported locales for the following files on www.mozilla.org:
* firefox/android/index.lang
* firefox/ios.lang
* firefox/os/index.lang
Well.. sorry for asking this here, (maybe is not the correct place), but as you can see, i've requested "ios.lang"
I have a doubt/question: iphone devices are not available in Asturian language (iso code 'ast'), so would be possible to have a version of fennec for iOS in Asturian language? I've read about this in: https://blog.mozilla.org/l10n/2014/05/20/language-switching-in-fennec/ but I'm confused about this issue
.. and sorry again for asking that here.

Pages were added and should be available soon.
For the app: Android and iOS work quit differently.
On Android you can switch locale inside the app, you don't need any support from the OS.
On iOS that language switcher is not available. But, iOS has a "second level" support for some locales: even if the OS itself is not localized in language X, you might still be able to select it as preferred when available. For example, iOS is not available in Irish, but you can use iOS in Irish thanks to this system.
We need to check if Asturian is available in this group of locales.
Localization for v5.0 should start in a few days, but we still don't know when the release after that will be available. I'm not completely sure if starting localization of Firefox for iOS (~500 strings) from scratch is a good investment of your time right now, but that's mostly up to you. If it missed v5.0, it might take a while to get into release.

Just in case: just checked and 'asturiano' is available in this second set of languages in case you decide to localize it (project can be added to Pontoon).

@Iñigo
Sorry for the delay, we're in the middle of some changes for mozilla.org
Peiying, want to try fixing this one?

Of course, me and Enolp want to localize it ;)
Can you add it? Thank you!

That was super fast. We still don't have the strings for 5.0, but at this point completing it would not be hard.
I'll coordinate with Delphine (she owns l10n for mobile), and send you both an email to figure out the next steps.
