Steps to reproduce:

1. In Firefox mobile open several new tabs or switch between tabs while  browsing or open empty tabs.
2.open them quickly or in between while browsing.


Actual results:

1.There is awful lag while opening new tab and switching between them.
2.while opening new tab that (upward transition) is really laggy.


Expected results:

1. I recently browsed Firefox source code, there are no pref configs in mobile section to disable Firefox animations although they are present in browser folder for desktops. please add prefs for simple things like (browser.tabs.animate) etc. if there are any tricks please tell. I have already done scrolling, cache,memory etc tweaking. 
2.There should be option for disable all transitions in config(like present in b2g developer options)
3.scrolling is improved in latest nightlies , please consider tab transitions.

Hello,

I couldn't reproduce this issue following the steps from the description on the latest Nightly with a Samsung Galaxy S8+ Android 8.0.0.
Note that i had more than 15 tabs opened.

I will close this issue as worksforme based on my comment if this is still reproducing for you, please re-open it and mention what device and build you used.
