User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.11; rv:46.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/46.0 Build ID: 20160502172042 Steps to reproduce: Went to Preferences. Then Network. Tried to click on Clear Now. Actual results: It takes thousands of clicks.... if I'm lucky to totally clear it. I have already deleted Firefox and reinstalled with same issue. I know of alot of people having this same issue. Expected results: Should clear with one click.

Tested on nightly. One click is sufficient. But it takes time to clear the cache depending on the volume. And during this step, the button is still active. So it is possible to click once again (or "thousands" times) to no avail (maybe it's even slowing the process). The message displayed stating that it calculates the size of cache is not very relevant. Because it looks like it is clearing the cache. So, in my opinion, the cache is cleared with only one click, but the UI is not so helpful. Please, Robin, can you check if it works if you click only once on the button and just wait. It took about one minute on my profile to clear 349 MB.

We've updated this UI (in the dependencies of bug 1312351) and this should no longer be the case (and I checked and can't reproduce - when deleting my 1GB of cached data, the labels and enabled state of the UI changed).
