It would be a nice thing if [mouse] selections and search results alike were
marked in a more distinguished way. Take a bloated web page for example, it's
not always so easy to find a search result markup.
What I was thinking was if the selection could be somehow "moving" (sort of like
the TV screen with no reception). It should be possible to do without decreasing
the legibility of the text. That would separate the selection or search result
from other things such as highlighted text, making it easier to find.

The browser window scrolls so that the search result is at the bottom of the
screen. It's not hard to spot the selection. Adding an animation would just be
distracting.
