Currently, once you have clicked on a tooltip, the tooltip_data_1 item is set until you either clear a selection or you click onto a different series or you click on an earlier point in the series. If you only have one series, there is no way to set tooltip_data_1 to a later point on the series.
If we treat a click that is not on a data point as a request to clear the selected revisions, we can clear the selection and allow the next click to select a later point on the series.
