From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:0.9.8+) Gecko/20020222 BuildID: 2002022203 Using DHTML, when trying to hide a <TBODY> of the table on http://www.clanwork.net/forum/, table rows are not correctly redrawn after making the <TBODY> visible again (rows become partially black where the correct BGCOLOR should be seen). Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. open referenced page (http://www.clanwork.net/forum/) 2. click on the +/- icon next to some category's caption in the table 3. click a few more times 4. reload the page a few times and repeat 2 & 3 if the bug doesn't occur Actual Results: the first table row of the <TBODY> is displayed correctly while parts of the second row show partially black. Expected Results: show the correct BGCOLOR (gray or silver). sample code: (view code of page http://www.clanwork.net/forum/)
this bug has occured with the 0.98 milestone as well. it does not occur on internet explorer 6.0.
Confirmed on linux build 2002-02-22-08.

works fine for me on linux 7.1 build : 2002-02-25-080-trunk. I have tried the given steps 4-5 times but still unable to produce it.
found the bug again in several builds until the one I'm using now (2002041711/win32). to reproduce, I've found another step 1a): 1a) before clicking on the +/- icon, hover over the link next to it. I am attaching a screenshot so you can see what I mean even if you're not able to reproduce the bug.
you might want to try it yourself: - visit http://www.clanwork.net/forum/ - hover over some links (perhaps even click around a few times :)) - click the (-) symbol next to "news, updates" - perhaps hover over some links again? - click the (-) symbol (should be + now) again - see if it matches the screenshot
Cannot reproduce this with build 20020512, Win2000.
sorry everybody, the last recent change of the site's design, it seems to be impossible to be reproduced. note that it was not fixed by updating the browser but by changing the site. the initial problem remains, but I can't find any way to reproduce it anymore. You may want to delete this bug report now or whatever :).
That's the reason why we need testcases instead of screenshots http://www.mozilla.org/newlayout/bugathon.html ;-)
Marking WFM.
