Steps to reproduce:

1. Go to a HTTPS protected website.
2. Wait for SSL session timeout. Often from 10 minutes to 1 hour.
3. Do a POST operation, e.g. write something into a search box and push enter.

If you have a HTTPS protected website and access to the HTTP daemon:
1. Go to the page.
2. Restart the HTTP daemon.
3. Do a POST operation.


Actual results:

Firefox will complain about a Secure Connection Failure, without any error code.


Expected results:

Website should load normally without complain to SSL.
Unaffected Firefox versions: 38.8.0 ESR, 45.0.1, 47.0b5

Is this perhaps a dupe of Bug 1269055 ?
From comment #1 it is working on 47 so it is bug 1269055.
