The value will be "true" or missing. This should be added to the field whitelist which is visible to anyone, and in supersearch it should be queryable with "exists" or "not exists". I think I could do this in the field admin page, but I'm not sure exactly what the right settings are. Peter can you help?

Note: this isn't landed in incoming data yet, but when it *is* we'll want to query it quickly. mconley or blassey, do you have examples of specific crash IDs that have already been submitted from self-builds using this patch?

do you need more than 1?

No, I think one's probably enough.

Benjamin, Sorry I didn't see this until now, which is 5 min before heading out for the weekend.
Adrian is the master of SuperSearch whitelists. He can help you on Monday morning.

I have added that field. Instead of making it an "exists/doesn't exist" field I simply made it a boolean. Here's an example search: https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/search/?product=Firefox&submitted_from_infobar=__true__&date=%3E2016-05-13

Benjamin, if you want to see what data I used, here's that field's entry: https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/admin/supersearch-field/?name=submitted_from_infobar An here is the documentation I wrote about adding fields: http://adrian.gaudebert.fr/blog/post/2014/12/02/socorro-super-search-fields-guide

In this case, there were a few options to do this, but I think making the field a boolean was the most straight-forward one, and easiest to use.
