Details

Thunderbird was working fine...no changes to IMAP. There are 6 unique email folders. Selecting "Get Messages" does not work...."Safe Mode" does not solve this issue..."Disabling Add On" does not solve this issue...Selecting Offline then Online appears to trigger the same condition as a restart and new emails appear......Current Ver:45.1.0...This was an updated version that did not FIX this issue...Previous VER:38.X
Anything interesting in tools->error console?
There have been a handful of similar reports, but not many. I suspect this is some sort of security change that is now failing. It would be good to enable security logging and figure out the actual complaint. I do not have time myself to analyze these logs at the moment, but it would be good to know what is the underlying issue so that we can point people in the correct direction.

I set up a new email account on Charter.Net today with no problems on the Thunderbird (TB) interface...However the same bug exists that will not download new messages unless TB is closed and restarted...Is there any action on this bug?? Thanks
